Odisha Government Invites Recruitment for District Programme Coordinators under MAMATA Scheme in Three Districts

The Government of Odisha's Department of Women and Child Development has formally invited applications from suitable candidates for the post of District Programme Coordinators (DPCs) in Kalahandi, Keonjhar, and Rayagada districts under the flagship MAMATA Scheme.

As per the notice, these are contractual posts, strictly tied with the duration and operation of the MAMATA Scheme. As of now, one DPC post is vacant in each of the three districts. Besides this, a panel of candidates based on merit will be formed to fill any prospective vacancies that could arise within a period of one year.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 and 40 years as on January 1, 2025.
Monthly Salary: ₹35,000.
Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degree in any subject, preferably in Social Sciences, Life Sciences, Nutrition, Medicine, Health Management, Social Work, MBA, or Rural Management.
Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in government or non-government agencies.
Technical Skills: Should be skilled in MS Office. Evidence of computer training (DCA, PGDCA, etc.) is preferable.
Language Proficiency: Should be able to read and write in English and Odia and also translate between both languages.

Selection Process:

Career Assessment: 40% weightage
Relevant Experience: 30% weightage
Personal Interview: 30% weightage
Other Conditions:
Applicants should be Odisha residents to facilitate effective communication and community interaction.
The contract will be renewable every year subject to satisfactory performance.
In case the MAMATA Scheme is discontinued, the contractual appointment will also stand automatically cancelled regardless of the unexpired term.

Self-attested copies of all educational, professional, and identity documents should be submitted by the candidates along with the application.
